Google PR and Alexa are the ratings which measure the quality of the websites but which one is more effective and accurate? It is a very confusing question and no one can decide which one is more effective and accurate. But you can give your ideas and inference according to your results. I am going to do the same thing and I just want to share my thoughts about the Google Page Rank and the Alexa Ranking. Well, Google Page Rank was the only ranking that people used to consider 6-7 months ago but after that Google shows some strictness in their PR update and algorithm and therefore some frustrated webmasters started taking Alexa ranking as more reasonable and effective ranking of the website.

They decided the inference as if the website is valuable one, then there will be more visitor. But recently few weeks before, Alexa also made some changes in their algorithm and now Alexa no more dependent on the toolbar of Alexa but some other system. And the Alexa ranking of the websites has not been updated since last 10-12 days. I am still confused about the two ranking and if there is another ranking system of website, then I will vote for it. But unfortunately there is no any other ranking system and therefore we must wait for the new algorithm of Alexa and also some improve ranking system of Google Page Rank.
