But here in webmaster world, the directory means the web directory and the blog directory.
In the web directory, you will find free directory and paid directory. If you have some budget for promoting your website, then you can submit your website in paid directory and if you do not have much budget, then still there is option and it is free directory. There are many good quality free directories and therefore you can submit your websites in those free directories.
While submitting a website to a directory, the most important thing is the category of the website. You must choose the right category while submitting your website to the directory. A directory can provide both backlink and traffic to your website. Now you can test yourself the directory submission test and enjoy the result of good backlinks and traffic in your website.
