Factors of Page Rank
What decides the Page Rank of a website? Well, Page Rank is another feature that many webmasters always looking for. In the last few months, Google has made many changes in the algorithm of Page Rank and the Page rank algorithm is very confused these days. I just want to mention some of the factors that can help you to get high page rank according to the old algorithm:
1. Backlinks: Backlinks are the number of non no-follow links in the other websites and blogs. If there is a link which is not no-follow link, then you will get a backlink from that website. According to the old Google algorithm of Page Rank, backlink is the most important factor. If you get backlinks from relevant and quality websites, then it is called quality backlinks.
2. Domain Name: If the domain name of your website is a keyword domain name, then it also helps to get higher PR and also if you register a domain for a long time (say more than 5 years), that can also help you to increase the Google trust and subsequently the Page Rank of the website.
3. Contents: Content is one of the most important factors of Google Page Rank. Content plays an important role in the SERPs (search engine ranking page) rather than the Page Rank. But nowadays Google decides the Page Rank of the website according to the contents of the website.
